Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Professor to teach Computer Science courses, conduct laboratory sessions, mentor students, and contribute to research and academic development.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach undergraduate Computer Science subjects.
• Conduct theory classes, laboratory sessions, and practical examinations.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, presentations, and study materials.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Guide students in internships, research, and final-year projects.
• Organize coding competitions, workshops, technical seminars, and hackathons.
• Participate in curriculum development and faculty development programmes.
• Publish research papers in reputed journals.
• Maintain laboratory infrastructure and software resources.
• Participate in NAAC, LIC, IQAC, and other institutional activities.
• Perform academic and administrative duties assigned by the institution.
Qualification
• PG Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks.
• NET/SLET/SET qualification preferred where applicable.
• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized college or university.
• Experience in handling programming laboratories and project guidance.
• Experience in research and accreditation activities will be an added advantage.
Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.
• Knowledge of Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Networking, Web Technologies, and Data Structures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Student mentoring and project guidance.
• Research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
